To be eligible you must fit the following requirements

  • Minorities who are U.S. citizens
  • In general a minority is considered one of the following [African-Americans, Hispanics, Native Americans, (Eskimos, Hawaiians, Samoans), Indian, Asian]
  • High school senior planning to attend a four year College or University and declaring a major in: Engineering, Mathematics or Science
  • Maintain a field of study in Engineering, Mathematics or Science
  • SAT scores: Critical reading score 550 or above, math score 500 or above and writing score 490 or above.
  • Proof of financial need (eligible for financial aid and combined household income less than $100,000)
  • Complete an initial application (deadline March-31st)
  • Write a 500 word essay on one of the topics highlighted in the application

Must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA for the last three years in high school

To provide the following assistance:

  • Financial scholarships payable each semester (Amount will vary based on annual funding available)
  • Computers & scientific calculators
  • Book stipends

The following programs will be provided as needed

  • Mentoring
  • Aprprenticeship/Internships
  • SAT Preparation
  • Community Volunteering
  • Public Speaking
  • Tutoring
  • Educational Field Trip
  • Charitable Event
  • Educational Support Services
  • Administration of Education Programs
  • Professional and Management Development Training

Each student will be required to submit the required documentation prior to beginning of each semester before funds will be disbursed.

The student must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA each semester to remain eligible while attending a four year university or college
