Director of Engineering and Business Development

LeVar has over 10 years of experience as an RF Engineer, Manager and Director in the wireless telecommunications field. With a thorough understanding of the fundamental principles of Electrical Engineering, RF Design and Optimization, LeVar has led and managed several multi-million dollar projects throughout the US while working for a major service provider as an engineering consultant and entrepreneur. While working at Bell Atlantic Mobile, LeVar was responsible for managing the implementation and trial of a multi-million dollar RF engineering project. In this role, he was the primary contact for the vendor and the system performance/design teams.

Later at Alltel as a consultant, he was instrumental in the success of an RF network expansion and ATM upgrade that was needed to increase ARPU and reduce churn. More recently, LeVar led a successful IT consulting business for several years that distributed equipment and developed software for small to medium sized businesses in the southeast.

Afterwards, LeVar was brought to a small engineering services firm as an executive to diversify their core business composition and build relationships with major telecom companies, such as: Verizon Wireless, Sprint Nextel and other regional Carriers. During his tenure, he developed numerous QC procedures, internal training materials/programs, strengthened the overall business portfolio and led the engineering team from 2-fulltime engineers to approximately 25 at the peak. Likewise several years ago, he launched a new business unit, namely In-Building and grew that team, became a licensed low voltage engineer and oversaw more than 200-Funded projects (with greater than 95% customer satisfaction).

From a business management perspective, his most recent accomplishments have led to increased revenues at consistent margins, for more than three consecutive 12-month periods. LeVar continues to be responsible for: financial forecasting, budgeting, marketing, sales development, training, managing multiple IT and Engineering projects throughout the United States.

His natural ability to communicate complex ideas to others in a concise manner, has allowed him to flourish in startup businesses, implement new engineering service offerings, conduct various training programs for experienced and inexperienced engineers, maximize customer loyalty and retention.
